Hello! I have a job I love as a cataloging librarian and am living my dream!! I'm a new RVer and recently drove 1800 miles solo to pick up my well researched new truck camper, because my husband of 39 years does not work remotely and didn't have the vacation time available to come along. I believe in stretching my comfort zone, so my life becomes bigger and bigger. I'm training for an endurance event (with my son) in Stratton Mountain Vermont October 2023 called 29029, where you hike the elevation of Mt. Everest in a time period of 36 hours. Grueling!! I grew up on a farm and my family camped at local state parks as I was growing up. My grandpa was a full time RVer with his Holiday Rambler which left an impression on me, I just wish I started doing this sooner (before prices went through the roof!!). I want to visit as many states as I can and am open to suggestions on itineraries and learning from others and their experiences.
