About
I live on a short acre of property abutting the Conway Drain. Notus has been here since the 20's. It is a small farming community that has turned into a bedroom community for Caldwell, Nampa and Boise. It is a pretty quiet little town and there is now not much in the way of stores or shopping, but there are stores either side of us in Parma and Caldwell within 10 miles each way. It's just a little town kind of in the middle of farmland. Suggested Local Attractions:The town where I live has a small museum that is open mostly at 4th of July and Memorial Weekend. Caldwell, Idaho is near and has many events through the year as well as a historic downtown area and beautiful renovation of the Indian Creek area. There are many farms, and south of here are many vineyards with stores. Orchards and farms are all around here, and there is also Boise about 35 miles west of here with lots of stuff to do. There is a great military museum in Nampa about 18 miles away with great shopping as well.

I like quiet spaces and small towns. Details: I am an ex trucker of over 40 years and also drove school bus for about 10 years. I love my family and friends, and belong to a church in a nearby community. I just downsized from a large pull trailer to a van and I love camping, hunting, and quiet reflections at the campfire. I used to have horses but had to let them go, so am more able to get away as much as possible to go atv'ing, and fishing. Don't have any little critters anymore, but love dogs & cats Home Town: I've lived in Southwest Idaho for over 25 years about 1/2 way between Ontario, Oregon and Boise, Idaho off a main highway. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere high in the mountains and near high mountain lakes and streams, actually anywhere with lots of trees and water. Skills or Expertise to Share: Don't know everything, but I will offer to help if I see that I might have something to offer.

House Rules
No marijuana use. Moderate drinking is allowed, but no loud parties please. Regular tobacco may be used with cautions as to disposal. This is a quiet area, and so I prefer not to have loud animals so as to not disturb the neighbors. Children are welcome but must be supervised. If they get loud it will upset the neighbors and I will have to revise my requirements. I would like to know when you will arrive and leave so the I can help you with crossing the well at the entrance. If you are using a tow vehicle, I will give you instructions as to how to avoid the well area. If you hook up to power I would need 10 dollars paid in advance please. That would cover the water as well. I have no RV dump, water would be just for filling your potable water.
Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: I have one 30 amp and one 110 amp hookup. I prefer not to entertain anything longer than a 27" pull trailer as it makes it impossible to avoid the well area at the front of the property. I have private alley access to my backlot. It is narrow but very negotiable. However, there is the well to cross at the entry, and it needs to be traversed with supervision. There is room for more rigs, but it is a little uneven and not totally open. I do not provide Wi-Fi as the Wi-Fi here is very spotty and not very strong in most cases. If you require Wi-Fi you need to have your own hotspot connection. No large Class A's or 5th wheels please. With the height plus extra length it would be too problematic. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is plenty of room to turn around and park extra vehicles near your camper or motorhome, and if you are travelling with other rigs depending on the type I might consider them as well. Only one unit can run a large a/c, etc. There would be a separate charge for the extra unit if they need 110.
