About
We are located in Zion IL, 45 miles north of Chicago and 45 miles south of Milwaukee, 6 miles from the highway.
Our house is south of 9th St! Some maps take you too far north.
We have 2 acres with a playground that you are welcome to use.
Suggested Local Attractions: Visit Chicago one day and Milwaukee the next, plus Six Flags Great America is only 20 minutes from us.
There are a few free Lake Michigan beaches within 15 minutes. We love the Mitchell Park Domes (3 biomes) and Discovery World in Milwaukee.

I’m Sarah, my husband, Dan, retired from the Navy a few years ago. We settled in IL, bought a small hybrid trailer, and have been traveling to see sights and visit friends and family. We have 8 kids ages 26 to 6.
Home Town:
Our home base is Zion, IL, up near the Wisconsin border.
Skills or Expertise to Share:
The only experience I have is in parenting or homeschooling. I’ve been doing both for over 20 years.

No smoking when we are outside, please.
Quiet hours after 10 PM.
Slides are allowed, but the one on the driveway side might need to be closed during the day.
Keep pets on leash.
Clean up after your pets. If you do not, we will mention it in our review.
Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions:
We live on a basic town road with a shoulder on each side. There are no trees or wires overhead. It’s a 90° turn into our driveway which has a slight slope down from the road then levels out. There is 55 ft allocated for your rig and tow vehicle.
Tow Vehicle Parking Details:
In front/back of the rig. We have a long driveway.
