Part-time RVers who summer in Iowa and winter in Florida Details: We are a retired human resources specialist and librarian/archivist who spend the winter in Florida and come back to Iowa for the summer. While we are in Iowa for the summer we would like to meet other RVers and talk about the RV life-style. Home Town: We divide our time between Florida and Iowa. The boondocker's invitation is for our residence on a farm near What Cheer, Iowa. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love National Parks, National Forests, State Parks, State Forests, Bureau of Land Management sites, and Corps of Engineers Campgrounds. Skills or Expertise to Share: We camped in our 1999 Airstream travel trailer for 24 years and have picked up some knowledge of repair, maintenance and places to stay. We recently moved on to a Tiffin Wayfarer and are learning how to camp without a tow vehicle.

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: We live one mile off of a hard surface road on a gravel road. There are no sharp curves or hills. The west side of our pull-through drive has a low hanging maple tree but by pulling onto the grass the branch can be avoided. The pull through driveway has a very slight slope in the area near the power pole. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have a pull-through gravel drive way that wraps around the farm house, with parking available on grass in dry weather and on the gravel driveway when wet.
