This is a community of around 40,000 people and home to Prairie dunes Golf Course, one of nations top courses and home to several US championship tournaments. Each year, Hutchinson hosts the Kansas State Fair, and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Basketball Tournament. Unique national attractions include the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center aerospace museum and Strataca (formerly known as Kansas Underground Salt Museum). Hutchinson has an antiques shopping district with local art and music celebrations monthly. Family activities include a children’s museum, Dillon Nature Center, Carey Park Golf course, Hutchinson Zoo, a Skateboard Park, Salt City Splash Water Park, Miniature golf, roller skating, bowling alley, arcade, Sandhills State Park with hiking, nature, and equestrian trails, biking/walking trails, and so much more! This boondocking site is an off-street driveway spot, in a rural neighborhood, just outside the city limits of Hutchinson. Large drive with lots of space to maneuver any size rig including space for a tow vehicle. Pets welcome and may choose to use the fenced in potty area. Access to water and electricity.
