About
Unlock a window into the past while enjoying modern RV camping comforts at this gem in Lexington. Imagine rolling into an estate rich in history, where the Antebellum South rises to meet you with open arms. This historic estate, once known as the Joseph Bryan estate, paints a vivid picture of 19th-century life through its meticulously preserved house and outbuildings, including original slave quarters, a smokehouse, and an ice house. As the sun casts amber hues over your RV, step out to engage with history on an intimate level. Guided tours offer a poignant look into the daily existence of both the family and the enslaved individuals who lived and worked here in the 1850s. Wander through the rooms and chambers that echo with tales long past, each narrated with respect and a dedication to authenticity. Supporting this location not only enriches your travel itinerary but also contributes to the preservation of crucial American history. Visitors who may not partake in the tours but wish to aid in sustaining this beacon of cultural heritage can do so with a heartfelt donation. By choosing this location for your RV camping adventure, you are choosing to immerse in a narrative far greater than any ordinary stopover. Join us here, where every sunset is a toast to history and every dawn brings the promise of enlightenment.
