Hi! Welcome to our unique property! We own about 12 acres along Bayou Bourbeaux in Clarence, Louisiana just outside of historic Natchitoches. We make a great base for not only exploring beautiful Natchitoches but we are also close to: Sibley Lake, Black Lake, Kisatchie forest, Saline Bayou, Grand Bayou, Res River and Cane River. There’s an alligator farm just 15 minutes from here and we are an hour from Alexandria and 90 minutes from Shreveport! Our property serves as a bed and breakfast but we also sell our delicious bbq as well as various craft items. In addition we are also a a tea room! You can schedule a full (think Bridgerton with finger sandwiches, scones and little desserts with china and hot tea). Tea is served outside under our oaks and we have “dress up” things to make your tea experience that much more fancy ;). We just need a little advance notice for tea if desired. We also rent out our kayaks for a small fee and can take you out fishing locally! While staying with us, you’re welcome to use the property to do some porch sitting, lie in a hammock under the ancient oaks, play cornhole, ladder all, giant jenga or connect 4. We have plenty of inside games as well. We have a place to dump your potty and can top off your water if needed. We also have access to electric but you’ll have to park near the back garage and a long extension cord will be needed. there’s plenty of room for boat or ATV parking!
