About
Note: this site is ideal for campervans/class B RVs. We can provide space up to maximum of 25 feet (including TOTAL length of any campervan, trailer/tow vehicle, bike rack, spare tire, etc.) along the side of the paved street in front of our house in a 50's-era family-friendly neighborhood. You will be right at the edge of the tree-lined street. One slide-out or awning could go out over the front lawn. Note: there are overhanging tree limbs (about 10 feet above the pavement) at the edge of the parking spot. Please arrive before sunset whenever possible. Residents' cars will drive down the street. Children may play in nearby yards and driveways. Neighbors will say to one another, "Oh, they have company again." ;-) So please do be thoughtful of our neighbors and their children. Note: We can NOT offer guests WIFI but free WIFI is available at the town library a couple of miles away at 123 Pleasant Street. There is a dump station less than 3 miles away at the town sewer department (10 Pine Road) for a fee. Free unsecured wi-fi is available at the town library at 123 Pleasant Street couple of miles away. The town requires dogs to be cleaned up after and leashed when outside. No dogs loose on our lawn and no dog poo on our lawn, please. By the way, early on Sunday mornings our Sunday paper is delivered to our front door and this could potentially interrupt your sleep. You would be an easy drive from I-295 and lots of interesting mid-coast Maine sights, museums, nature, shopping, and a surprising variety of restaurants for a town of around 20K people. If our site is not available or your rig won't fit, there is a parking lot in Freeport down the hill from L.L. Bean on Depot Street (near the train station) which offers a designated RV parking area and does allow overnight parking. Suggested Local Attractions: museums, art galleries, old buildings and houses, and lots of restaurants are in this "foodie" town, plus outlet shopping, scenic coastline and walking/hiking/biking trails are all within easy reach.
