Retired educator and retired woodworker Details: We are a long time married couple. We live on a 10 acre property and have had horses, goats and chickens over the years, but currently only have dogs sharing our space with us. Our home is in a rural neighborhood, but is only five minutes off of Interstate 495, 8 minutes from a grocery store and 10 minutes to the commuter rail to Boston. Home Town: Wrentham, MA We live in Wrentham, MA (home of the Wrentham Premium Outlets), but in a rural neighborhood five minutes from there and from Interstate 495. Wrentham is almost equal distance (in mileage) from Providence, RI and Boston, MA. We are also an hour away from the Cape Cod Canal. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We did one 11 week trip and a 6 month cross country trip. On the 6 month trip we visited 38 states and 20 National Parks. Many favorite spots and people along the way! BW was a wonderful resource and we have kept in touch with many of our BW hosts. Skills or Expertise to Share: Gerry converted a 2017 transit van into a class B motor home, which he did completely himself. (Gerry ran a custom woodworking business here for 30 years). Katie speaks several languages, loves to cook and bake, and can also teach you how to play Mah Jongg if you are interested.
