Our summer home is located right on Lake Superior. We have a Main cabin where we live in and a small guest cabin, that can be reserved with a 72 hour notice. Both have a marked sandy path that winds its merry way down to the private beach. There are several places to park and a gravel turn around. We are off the beaten path and it's inky black at night but we have solar lights to help navigate your way down to the beach for stargazing and watching the lit up freighters as they cross Lake Superior. During the day you can hear and see the inbound freighters heading to the Soo Locks or see the Out bounders. The little cabin in the woods is 11 1/2 miles from downtown Paradise and there is a small grocer to stock up and two gas stations. We have several good places to eat in town and cute gift shops as well. You have a one of a kind beautiful sunset or a serene sunrise over Ontario Canada. It's truly a magical place. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: See the following. Regardless of what your GPS says, only come in OFF of W. Wildcat Rd. Any other road in will get you stuck. 2 and half miles is wide gravel road. Your GPS may stop at the old Cranberry Farm. You will see a sign that says closed to Thru Traffic. Continue on and just take it slow and easy and you will see a hanging basket of Pink Petunias and turn in. There is a sign that says Shipwreck Shores as well. If you get to a barrier blocking the road, you have gone too far.

Your membership includes an overnight stay at a Host. Extra nights are available at the Host's discretion.

There is a charge for extra nights. $50.00. Please message me direct to see if we can accommodate you. Guest cabin is also available if you book in advance.

There is a sign that says parking allowed and is adjacent to the guest cabin. Additional parking on the forest side of the property. It is a little more private and nearer to the road.

Please donate or purchase minimum $25.00. Cash Tips accepted. Swim, kayak or paddle board at your own risk. Lake Superior will change on a dime. Please wear a life jacket if you plan to swim or paddle. Feel free to walk down to the old township park or picnic on our beach. Please do not leave any trash.
