About
Awaken to the symphony of nature's wilderness where majestic horses are your guides through a countryside retreat. Discover the quiet charm of RV camping with a rustic twist on this scenic 120-acre farm, where almost 90 acres of woodlands invite you to explore nearly two miles of serene, looping trails. Guests arriving with RVs are encouraged to revel in the peaceful setting, punctuated occasionally by the exuberant thunder of hooves from the herd at play. This unique destination offers an authentic experience for RV enthusiasts eager to combine the comforts of their own mobile home with the pastoral pleasures of farm life. Engage in the tradition of horse-drawn transportation with available wagon or sleigh rides, immersing you in the pastoral ambiance for an unforgettable event or simply to enrich your stay. Celebrate life's milestones or inject everyday serenity with these equine services, suitable for a variety of events. Relish the thrill of meeting the local wildlife as well; deer are a frequent spectacle and birds of multiple species treat you to a visual and auditory feast in the warmer months. Although RV campers are welcome to walk their dogs along the verdant trails, it's advised to remain vigilant of the farm's more reclusive inhabitants, such as skunks and porcupines, and to practice 'bear awareness' due to occasional visits from these impressive creatures. Despite the proximity to major highways, visitors will find a tranquil haven that preserves a sense of seclusion, with only the light stir of moderate traffic from a nearby paved county road. For those interested in a deeper connection with the farm's spirit, horse chores in the morning and evening present a chance to witness the daily rhythms of equine care. The opportunity to schedule a wagon tour around the farm and its neighbors, or to set up a Barn Tour to meet the herd, promises a blend of educational and heartfelt encounters. Check the farm's website for pricing and information. As you settle into the comfort of your RV, let the simple pleasures of farm life and the idyllic setting of this camping retreat transport you to a world where nature's pace sets the rhythm for a perfect escape.

Parking & Arrival
Check in for parking instructions. If you don't hear from me within 48 hours of your email, please call 231-930-7216. Life is a whirlwind around here and I sometimes forget to check! Campsite 2 is Gravel surface,- covered with wood chips in the area near the horse barn and paddocks, more affected by farm activity and noise, (horses can be noisy). Campsite 1 is our grass/gravel covered guest parking area, on the east side of the horse barn. Campsite 3 -(The Logging Landing) is Grass surface, far away from the barns, buildings and activity in a clearing in our woods along the south side. It is about 150 feet off the main paved road with wide and easy access. This spot is more likely to have wildlife in the vicinity. Leveling plates recommended. We keep this area mowed.
