About
Located halfway between Chicago and Detroit in the heart of Amish country, we are a third generation regenerative hay and multi-species farm. Your rustic, riverside campsite with unobstructed sunset views over our organic hay field awaits. Bring your fishing pole and Michigan fishing license or boat, canoe, kayak of your choice and enjoy relaxing on the peaceful Fawn River. When you're done rounding up your catch of the day, relax by the campfire while it cooks. Local attractions include a world renowned flea market, Amish-Mennonite Museum, Amish bulk food store, gift shops of all kinds, restuarants, dinner theater, paved bike paths, soft pretzels, ice cream, and so much more.

HOST
Hello from the wrist of the mitten. 👋 We are homesteaders from White Pigeon, Michigan. We've raised our children and exchange students camping with a small group from church at a local camp ground. We started out in a tent then graduated to a small camper with only sleeping quarters and a working fridge. Later, we purchased a duplex on wheels with a working kitchen but chose to use the bath house. Now as empty nesters, we aquired a nealry new 5th wheel that is self-contained. We look forward to seeing and learning more of our beautiful state of Michigan and surrounding areas. We look forward to hosting guests as we have recently (August 2024) become hosts as well.

Parking & Arrival
Stop facing the house/mailbox leaving both roads clear for traffic. This is a great time to fill up with water and get directions to the campsite. If no one is available, the hydrant is by the breezeway door. Help yourself. Continue around the circle drive and drive all the way back to the woods, follow the woods around to the right past the honey bees and deer stand to the rustic campsite/boat launch/beach area. Park anywhere you like. Please keep off the hay field as much as possible. If you have any questions, please ask. We're here to help.
