About
Most people comment on how peaceful the place is and we think it is near perfect, but here are the gritty details—— We offer a flat part of our 1.5 acres in the woods to park on. The site may have grass until the summer heat cooks it. The place is fenced so pets may run. The neighborhood is in an area of “mini ranches”. Neighbors have chickens ( and at times roosters) and sheep, but they are good neighbors. My trailer fits around all the curves and branches, but please look to ensure yours will. While I prefer you arrive before dark, I understand conditions are not always ideal. If you come after dark, please take extra precautions that the site is what you want. Total length can be 45-50 feet if articulated. A Class A over 40 feet can fit , but will be hard pressed, to make the driveway turns. We offer an Extension cord for household electric. No generators, please, in respect of the neighbors, but it cools down nice at night and AC isn’t necessary for sleep. There is water but not to the site. Decent Verizon- we use them for WiFi. We hear ATT is good. Pets OK in fenced except gate yard. We have a large, friendly dog. Neighbors have chickens. Campfires in our ring ( as long as fire danger is low) - we even supply firewood. Nice covered deck for camp chairs. 1 mile to supermarket, 1.5 miles to river access, 3 miles to awesome trail into Selway Bitterroot Wilderness, 3 miles to Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge. We welcome all kind folks, regardless of skin or rv color or who you choose to travel with. Suggested Local Attractions:Explore Missoula. Drive through Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge. Bitterroot bike trail is 3/4 mile away. Kootenai Cr trailhead into the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness area is a couple of miles away.

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: We are less than a mile from US 93. The last 1/2 a mile is narrow, private dirt road that can have potholes at times. There are 2 sharp curves. A friend came in with a 40 foot motor home and toad just fine. This is not to scare you, but warn you if you only do pavement. There is a 90 degree turn into our driveway. Once you get there, we have a turn around and spur. The shadiest spot is a bit of a backup on the spur. Please send your ETA as a text on your day you’ll arrive- ie- on your drive here, the day you are to stay here, send me your ESTIMATED arrival time. More than 1 guest is welcome but it blocks the turn around and you must back in.
