About
SEASONAL ALERT Due to being at the height of fire season, campfires are prohibited at this time. Camp stoves are allowed but should be used with extreme caution. A single gravel pad on a private twenty acre parcel near lakes (Murphy, Dickie, Martin, Koocanusa, Sophie, Tetrault, Therriault), rivers (Tobacco, Kootenai) and mountains all around. Kootenai National Forest just minutes away. A short three miles from HWY 93 and services like restaurants, fuel and entertainment. In addition to the RV pad, there is an area for tents, a fire pit and picnic table. We have a farmstand down the hill at our Heritage Cabin featuring farm fresh eggs by the half dozen and select seasonal produce from the garden. Again, due to the extreme fire danger please be cautious. Smoking is allowed but again, please remain on the gravel. There is no toilet facility yet at the campsite so guests should expect to bring their own. Measurements of the RV pad are 9' wide at the back of the space, 13' wide at the front of the space and overall length is 28'. Being it is a fairly narrow pad, use good judgement for opening slides. The driveway access to the site is about 300' from the entrance with a fair portion being narrowed by trees to either side. A word about pets. Because we are in Montana and enjoy some wide open spaces, wildlife abound! While deer, eagles and prairie dogs are most commonly seen, elk, turkey, geese, bear, coyote, fox and badger are also visitors. Our doggos can be a threat to some of these and at least half can be a threat to your doggo. This is why we strongly ask that pets remain leashed unless inside the fenced area.

HOST
Hey there, Our Heritage property has been in the family since the late 80's. The principle residence is a unique log cabin we built in the early 90's and services like electric, phone and water were added over the years since then. We just started hosting guests at our Heritage Cabin a couple months ago and decided to open up the RV/camp site to dry campers at no cost. Absolutely love the outdoors and rural Montana lifestyle. We have three doggos ourselves and a flock of chickens that produce some tasty and nutritious eggs. It's quiet here and beautiful. We're blessed to be so close to National Forests, lakes and rivers. Also, we're only about an hour and a half from Glacier National Park so our spot is a great base to start exploring from. We have a sturdy fenced yard for doggos but do ask that pets be kept on leash if not in the yard to keep everyone safe. If you are looking to unplug a bit and relax, check us out.

Parking & Arrival
Our road is a private, gravel driveway for the three properties accessed from it. We are the first property with the primary residence branching off and access to Heritage Park Campground located and accessed on the upper ten acres of the property. The site is NOT a pull through with the electric and water hookup being located to the right of the pad when facing it. There are a couple of options for parking depending on your setup and comfort with backing. There is space to get turned around and your host should be able to assist with this if necessary. More specific info/guidance will be gladly provided to any interested guests upon request.
