About
We want to thank all of our guests for helping us reach the Hall of Fame Host Status (200 guest stays) in only 13 months of hosting! We sit half way between Wells and Elko, Nevada just two miles off interstate 80. Our little desert ranch is quiet with a spectacular view of the Ruby Mountain range, and we are far enough away from the city that you can enjoy the starlit sky at night. Our main property is completely fenced 2.5 acres, so if you have a dog that needs to get out and run, feel free to let them loose. We have an area for up to five RVs of any length with two full hookup spaces (30 amp) water and a dump available and one space with electric (50 amp) and water available. Generators are welcome too. In addition, we have one dedicated 20amp (120V) circuit also with water. Great for smaller RV's/Vans. If you're hauling horses we have space that you may let your horses out of your trailer for the night. We are a work in progress here and have brought in some playground equipment for travelers with smaller children and a horseshoe pit near the fire ring. Donations are placed back into improvements for our traveling guests! :) Elko, NV. offers all the usual grocery stores, restaurants, casinos, as well as a museum. Elko also hosts The annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in January and the famous Silver State Stampede Rodeo in July. We are a short 40 minute drive to Angel lake which is an Alpine lake at approx. 8,300' elevation stocked with trout or good for kayaking & paddle boarding.

HOST
Retired Railroading couple who still needs to feel the wheels turning under foot, so we swapped out steel for rubber and began RVing in 2017 full time, now part time. As hosts on our ranch in Nevada, we are allies and offer a safe place for camping to all who need it.

House Rules
Please be courteous of other guests and observe the quiet hours between 10p.m. and 7a.m. The main gate should be open upon your arrival unless otherwise notified, please close it behind you on your way in and out as there may be free roaming cattle in the area. Please pick up after your pets. A white bucket and shovel are provided near the parking area for disposing of your pets waste. We do not have trash service in the area so please take yours with you. Thank you.
Parking & Arrival
The access road is dirt and gravel which could be packed snow or muddy in places during the Winter season, dry, dusty with some washboard the rest of the year. The southwest corner of our property is graded for level boondocking RV parking with lots of room for maneuvering . You may park your tow vehicle at your spot or stay hooked up if you desire. We have two separate gates for easy access into or away from the property.
