About
We are retired farmers. In the summer we have sheep, goats, and/or horses grazing our pastures but they aren't ours so can't guarantee they'll be here when you visit. Jim can repair just about anything. Sandy is an excellent carpenter as well as repurposing old furniture and "junk" into usable items and gifts in her workshop. She has also been involved in genealogical research for many, many years. Suggested Local Attractions: ATV connecting trail to corridor 5 is accessible 3/10 mile down the road; Blessing of the Bikes in June; Moose Festival last week in August; Lancaster County Fair, Labor Day Weekend. Near Beaver Brook Falls National Area, Poore Family Homestead Museum. Tillotson Center and Great North Woods Committee for the Arts host concerts, plays, visual and performing arts. Lots of hiking, biking, fishing and hunting.

HOST
The youngest old person you'll ever meet. Details: Sandy is a retired NH Licensed Massage Therapist and Jim is retired from GE. We started a homestead farm in 2002 and raised egg and meat chickens, milk goats, sometimes a few freezer pigs or lambs. In 2019 we decided we'd had enough of north country winters and wanted to spend the winter months somewhere where there wasn't snow, ice and bitter cold. We sold our farm livestock (400 chickens, 15 goats, and 3 Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs), and bought our RV. We come back to the north country for the spring, summer and fall months to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we live in. Home Town: Columbia, NH Favorite Boondocking Locations: No place in particular. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jim can repair just about anything. Sandy is an excellent carpenter and loves interior decorating. She repurposes old furniture and "junk" in her workshop, turning them into useful items and gifts. She also loves to write about their travels on her travel blog at crosscountrycruzin.blogspot.com, as well as being involved in genealogical research for many, many years.
