Established in 1982 by Escapees founders Joe and Kay Peterson, our park embodies the core values of community, sharing, and service that define the Escapees experience. Known as "the friendliest park in the Escapees system," we celebrate each new arrival with our welcome bell, drawing members to greet you with warm hugs and genuine smiles. Our park is entirely volunteer-run, creating a true community where members share their knowledge, skills, and talents. With 118 sites available for short-term stays, you'll find a welcoming home base while exploring the wonders of New Mexico. The Original Ranch offers an ideal location for adventure, situated near Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell's UFO attractions, Brantley Lake for fishing, and Sitting Bull Falls.
