About
In the desert of extreme SW New Mexico ringed by mountains, close to the Chiricahua mountains that are 9,700 feet in elevation. Famous by birdwatchers and naturalists. It is a dark skies area where up to 70 astronomers stay. The Chiricahua Museum has live reptile exhibits and an Apache History building. I am building a sustainable vernacular homestead. I have well water and electricity for lights from my solar system. Birds, lizards, and mammals are friendly so no pets that will scare or eat them are welcomed. More reliable weather information is gotten in www.Portal/Rodeo.com
