We live on a small side road about 1000' from the larger small road (Twelve Corners). Nearest neighbor is about 600'. Plenty of acreage to hike and explore including a small 'gorge'. Our property extends down hill from a line from the pole by the road along a North trending boundary. There is a parking area for you on North side of road. "NO PARKING" sign is where the garbage truck turns around on Mondays; if here on a Monday, please set up to the East of that on solid grassy graveled area near Locust tree. OR in such a way as all of your gear is behind the NO PARKING sign. Thank you!! Some weekends the sounds from Frozen Oceans Motocross, which is about 1 mile to west can be 'heard'. Suggested Local Attractions: Finger Lakes region of CNY: Owasco and Skaneateles Lakes have parks as well as boat and swimming access; Carpenters Falls here in Niles; Harriet Tubman home, museums, and NYS Heritage Center in historical Auburn - about 11 miles; Ithaca and it's colleges, restaurants, and gorges; quaint touristy "on the Lake" village of Skaneateles; and Fillmore Glen State Park in Moravia; Plenty of hilly country roads in our area. There is a complete range of great restaurants.
