Harvest Hosts members are welcome and encouraged to visit Sylvan Heights Bird Park as part of their stay. The park admission fee covers self-guided tours of the park's walk-through aviaries and gardens, allowing you to get face-to-beak with some of the world's rarest birds. The Sylvan Heights Bird Park Visitor Center has a gift shop featuring bird and nature-themed apparel, home goods, toys, jewelry, art, and more. An on-site Cafe serving sandwiches, hot dogs, and snacks is open during the spring, summer, and fall. The Cafe is located in the park. Sylvan Heights Bird Park is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. When approaching the park on Sylvan Heights Park Way, please follow the signs to turn left into the bus parking/additional parking area. Do not continue straight into the main parking area. During the park’s hours of operation, please park in a single parking space (or as few spaces as possible) in the additional parking lot, or in the grass behind the picnic tables. Please do not block the electric vehicle charging station. Follow the walking path to the log cabin visitor center, and check in at the ticket window. Between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., you are welcome to move your vehicle anywhere in the gravel parking area, or in the grass behind the picnic tables.
