You will be camping on the edge of a 12 acre field. The area has had much Trailer/RV use ( including a 45000lb Prevost) without issues even in rainy weather. But if it is wet from rain or dew you may get footwear wet from the lawn/grass, be prepared. Walking distance from our house. It is a mowed area and well maintained. You can watch nature happen from this location. Our past boondockers have seen bear, deer, coyote, fox and many prey birds during a short 1 km walk (trail) around the field. A great window to watch the stars. Its a short distance off the main road which is especially good for people with pets and children. Cell coverage is spotty to non-existent. Great Bread and the cake and cookies are fantastic (Earltown General Store). Lots of wilderness trails and a designated Wilderness area very close to the house.
