It makes a great midway stop on the Sunrise Trail on the way to Tatamagouche, Pictou, the Confederation Bridge or Ferry (PEI), Cape Breton Island and NL. Your hosts are retired professionals who have traveled extensively, and either love to have a chat on the deck, around the fire or let you have a quiet stay :) Suggested Local Attractions: Thinker's Lodge (location of the Pugwash Peace Conferences), Northumberland Strait beaches, local museums and festivals, Jost Vinery, Gathering of the Clans, (July 1st) Harbourfest (July 28-30) Hiking & ATV Trails (we have ATV trail access and info), Pugwash and Tatamagouche Farmers' Markets on Sat a.m.
