About
We are almost on the centerline of the April 8, 2024 Eclipse totality and we'll have almost 4 min of darkness. We have eight Acres of Creek and woods with a large parking area. There is plenty of room to take your dog for a walk down the banks of the creek and through the woods. Catch and release fishing is also available. We have maybe 10 cars a day go by, and a few tractors. Suggested Local Attractions: Hayes Presidential Center is about 10 miles away, Lake Erie is 30 miles, stock car racing locally, Cedar Point Amusement roller coasters is about 35 miles. There is a winery 2 miles away and some of the best pizza in all my travels is only 10 miles away at the Depot in Fremont.

Former full-timer retired and relaxing Details: We have a barndominium in the country on the shores of a small creek. I'm a former full-time rver, and she recently retired from her Sr. financial analyst position. I used to work on computers and networks but now I stay as far away as I can from them. We recently changed from our converted bus motorhome to a 33 ft. fifth wheel. Weekend trips for now until we can travel more when she retires. We like talking to other traveling RVers about things to see and do as well as life experiences they've had. Home Town: We both grew up in a small NW central Ohio town just 30 mi from Lake Erie fishing and party islands. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's and most of my converted bus friends homes around the country. Skills or Expertise to Share: As with most rvers, we are multi-talented, but masters of nothing. We're pretty self-sufficient after living in an converted bus for 12 years. We are very good at enjoying our country life, and good conversation with friends. Our home is so great between the summer holidays that we don't really like to leave, so this is our way of staying in contact with other RVers. We know what its like to pay exorbitant camping fees when all we wanted was a safe spot to sleep.

Access Road Conditions: StRt 635 is good highway not very busy before our road. Last mile of our county road is wide 1 lane. Room to turn around here up at our site which is at road intersection. Very little bothersome traffic. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have large gravel area so the toad can park next to, or nearby the rig. Closeness will depend on how many other boondockers are here.
