RV parking is at the front of our detached garage near the road. Please note that the main road in front of our house is busy at all hours of the day (60 km/h zone). Please consider this from a noise perspective. There is a 10% uphill slope for the first 15m of the gravel driveway. Suggested Local Attractions:Access to highway 174 is a 2-minute drive. Downtown Ottawa is only 25 minutes away. About a 6-minute drive to the grocery store. For planning purposes, If you need to empty your wastewater, the City Of Ottawa has a dump location about 15 minutes from my place that closes at 2:30pm weekdays. Here is the info from their website: "The Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre (ROPEC) accepts waste from recreational vehicles (RV) such as trailers, camper vans, and motor homes. This service is free of charge. Please present yourself at the front gate: 800 Green Creek Drive, Ottawa, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (closed on statutory holidays). You will be directed to wait in a designated area until City staff becomes available to escort you to the discharge location and assist you. Water for flushing your tank will not be provided on site. Closed toed shoes and work gloves are recommended while on-site. Please note, general information will be requested in order to complete a log sheet for tracking purposes."
