Located on the beautiful and mighty Ottawa River, where sunrises and sunsets are spectacular! We are less than 9 minutes from the main highway (Hwy. 17 - Trans-Canada).
Suggested Local Attractions:10 minutes from Garrison Petawawa (Armed Forces Base). Algonquin Park,Barron Canyon and Bonnechere Caves are less than an hour drive away.

We have been enjoying the world of RVing for 2 years now and loving it.
Also we love hosting fellow RVers who need a night or two off the road for some relaxation and a 'quiet' night sleep.
Details:
My wife and I have been married 48 years and bought our Forest River Forester Class 'C' RV in 2020. We look forward to meeting fellow adventurers and perhaps share a story or a song around an evening bonfire.
Home Town:
We live on the banks of the Ottawa River between Petawawa and Pembroke, Ontario. We enjoy pontooning, jet skiing, kayaking and often take our peddleboat out to sip our tea and watch the sun set. If golfing is your passion, we are a 5 minute drive from the Pembroke Golf Club. Please feel free to use our horseshoe pit, our bonfire pit and our large gazebo (in case of rain). We want you to feel relaxed during your stay with us.
Favorite Boondocking Locations:
THE RANCH near Kenora, Ontario. Very nice spot.
SHERKTON SHORES on Lake Erie not far from Niagara Falls.
Skills or Expertise to Share:
I love to strum and pick the guitar with other musicians and sing some popular tunes, especially songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I'm a super fan of 60's on 6 on Sirius-XM. Love 'Cousin Brucie'. My beautiful wife is our "McGyver" around our property. She is also amazing at horseshoes! Feel free to challenge her.

Access Road Conditions:
To reach our property, you will only have to navigate about 200 yards of a private dirt road. There is one tight corner that is surely navigable but with some caution, of course. When leaving, you will reverse out of the same corner. Again with caution. There are other cottagers past our lot who use this private road but traffic is minimal.
