Rvers since 2004. No longer RV. Details: We are retired and loved travelling in our RVs. Our first rig was an older motorhome, which we took on a short trip to see if we would like Rving. We both had the best time. We took that first rig on a trip to south Texas for the winter. We then bought a brand new Class A motorhome in 2005 and sold it in 2012 after a couple of years of not being able to travel much. We then owned two new Fifth Wheel Trailers. We foowed up with a travel trailer so we could continue to enjoy travelling across Canada and the U.S. exploring new places, meeting new people and seeing the beautiful countryside we live in. We sold it during Covid and bought a 40 foot trailer in a campground on Upper Rideau Lake, which is now where we spend much of our summer. Home Town: Orleans is located on Highway 417, approximately 25 km east of Ottawa (Canada's capital city). Favorite Boondocking Locations: Interstate Rest areas, casinos, the odd Walmart or Flying J. We have also spent a night at a Camping World (with electricity). Our preferred locations are definitely rest areas and casinos. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are both pretty handy and have done many DIY home renovation projects. Jenne loves to cook, make greeting cards and has computer skills. Marcel is our all around handy man who likes to do wood work, read and paint in his spare time.
