Retired couple that loves the full time RV life! Details: Soon after I retired from nursing we sold our home and rentals to our son and began full time RV life. We are nearly five years into it now. Traveling is in my wife’s DNA as much as mine. As a second career I am a custom cabinetmaker and furniture builder. Also, making wine, mostly fruit wines is a great pastime for me. The fruits are mostly from our own property. Living the RV lifestyle has afforded us to meet so many people from across this country. Home Town: Lebanon, Oregon is a small town of about 19,000. I was born in our hospital here right after it was built. Twenty years later I returned as a new nurse and the nurse who hired me was the same one who signed my birth certificate! I spent most of my career about 50 yards from where I was born. When growing up this was very much a logging and wood industry town. Much of that is gone but our town is transforming into a university town. About fifteen years ago a medical school was built here and they now have nearly 410 medical students. That is stirring up other related businesses in the town. The property is very quiet but near to downtown activities. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We travel the 1000 mile length of the Baja about every year. Two of our favorite places to boondock on that journey are Playa Santispac on the Bahia de Concepcion and Santa Ynez a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere near Cataviña. Skills or Expertise to Share: Having lived most of my life here we are able to direct you to many of the areas of interest when visiting.
