About
Embrace the serene blend of spirituality and the open road as you park your RV in the comforting embrace of history and heritage at a unique camping destination in Bedford County. It's not every day that RV camping offers you a chance to connect with the roots of a community while you recharge your spirit under the open sky. Beginning as a humble yet fervent tent campaign initiated in 1930, this host location stands proudly near a beloved historical landmarkthe Coffee Potan endearing symbol of simpler times. The journey from a spirited gathering at a service station to a cornerstone in the community, this destination has evolved alongside the storied Lincoln Highway, mirroring the travel tales of countless RV enthusiasts. Find repose on the grounds of a sanctuary that has grown alongside its congregation, from its initial days at Bedford and Watson Streets to the dedication of a new building on Chamberlain Street in 1934. In the year of 1953, another milestone marked the continuation of this legacy with the construction of the contemporary building and a name that heralds its homely ambiancethe Village Church. The spirit of RV camping meets a touch of nostalgia here, as you settle in for a stay that promises peace and a connection to the generations that have gathered here before. Although not a traditional campsite, this host provides a rare opportunity for travelers to revel in tranquility and perhaps even to reflect on their journey through life and the roads less traveled. As an RV camper, you're always on the lookout for experiences that resonate with the joy of exploration and the comfort of community. Here, amid the verdant landscape of Bedford County and the echoes of a historic past, you'll find a restful retreat that invites you to pause and appreciate the timeless voyage of discovery.

House Rules
We have different regular events and functions which means people will be using the parking lot. Keeping to the lower end of the lot helps. The building beside the church is rented. Please be courteous with them.
Parking & Arrival
The best parking is on the lower end of the lot. It is level and mostly gravel. The parking lot is lit (and there are security cameras for safety and security). There can be noise from the highway above but it is not bad on the lower end of the lot.
