Our farm is a small 100 acre family farm run by a husband and wife, Rich and Tina. We do not have children but we have quite a collection of animals consisting of alpacas, beef cattle, a starter flock of sheep, and all the littles - dogs, ducks, chickens and a couple mischievous goats. We love to share our alpaca farm and our knowledge of the animals and their fiber. We have a farm store stocked with alpaca made socks, hats, gloves, sweaters etc as well as crafts and trinkets made with wool. The fiber portion of our business is known as Alpacas & Ewe, for our love of fiber from both of these animals. I, Tina, do make crafts here on the farm with needle felting and wet felting techniques. Kits are sold in the store that I can assist you with making while you are here visiting with these lovely animals. We call our farm HS Ranch, Hays Sunset Ranch, because we have some of the most beautiful sunsets right here on our little farm. We have a pond where you are welcome to fish, catch/release. Scenic trails around the property that you can venture out onto. We have an array of wildlife from turkeys, eagles, hawks, pheasants, to an occasional black bear, whitetail deer, many groundhogs, and a wide variety of birds, butterflies, and even dragonflies. We practice regenerative, eco-friendly, sustainable practices on our farm to benefit the animals we raise and most importantly the land we are lucky enough to be the caretakers of.
