As a family-friendly site, a lovable rescue dog may greet you with energetic barks, though guests' pets are requested to be kept on a leash, ensuring a harmonious environment for all. Please be aware that the location is currently undergoing a period of recovery and rebuilding following natural events. While some vistas may differ from past photographs, the heart of this haven and its invitation to visitors remains open and genuine, with an emphasis on self-sufficiency during this transformative time. Your membership includes an overnight stay at a Host. Extra nights are available at the Host's discretion.

We welcome folks to stay additional nights by prior arrangement; we invite you to consider the value of this service and make an appropriate donation either in cash or by work/labour contribution. (weeding and/or watering various plant beds, running errands, cooking and sharing a vegetarian meal, providing dog sitting services, etc.)

Park anywhere on the gravel area. Please note Atlantic time is missing from the list below, so be sure to adjust for the extra hour.

Contribute towards U pick access for whatever’s in season: lavender, mint, cherry tomatoes, haskaps, currants or raspberries. Make a suggested donation towards a tasty homemade breakfast - available some mornings: eggs with toast, fresh tomatoes and herbs, OR assorted cheeses, local jams and bread basket, OR oatmeal buttermilk flax and hemp pancakes with fruit smoothie OR Oatmeal with berries and/or fruit smoothie! Yum! All options served with coffee and/or tea. In lieu of above contributions, guests are also invited to do a job around the property: Pull weeds, trim paths, water trees or make and install a piece of art in the enchanted forest. We always have a running list, just ask upon check in or when reaching out by email. We're happy to accommodate longer stays for larger projects.
