Chelsea, Quebec is a great location to visit the federally operated Gatineau Park with over 200 km of walking and hiking trails and some great bike trails. Some of these trails can be accessed 50 m from our front door. Many of the roads in the park are closed to motor traffic much of each week. We are 1km from a 22km Chelsea shared bike/walk community trail on a converted rail corridor that follows the Gatineau River. Ottawa, Canada's capital is 20 minutes south of us. It is a major city [~1million] with many urban attractions and a very extensive network of bike routes and shared biking/walking paths. Shopping, the arts, and entertainment are all at hand. Suggested Local Attractions:Gatineau park; Gatineau city bike routes; Ottawa/Gatineau museums and art galleries. Chelsea and even more so Gatineau and Ottawa have a wide variety of restaurants presenting food flavours from many areas of the world.

Access Road Conditions: We are accessed by a short [~200m], but challenging gravel road off the municipal paved road. First there is a 40m steep hill. Finally, entering the property can be done by reversing into the lane-way or by backing out when leaving. In either case one should be familiar with back one's rig ~40m. The lane is at ~110deg to the short street. There are trees on both sides that we try to keep trimmed sufficiently.
