Located 10 minutes away from Chertsey, La Galère is a safe-place, a little heaven of shared collective care. We are a queer, feminist, neurodivergent, disabled gang fighting grind culture by welcoming rest in this beautiful piece of land. ***This is a space that is shared between the owners, the regular users, our guests and you. We expect respectful cohabitation and respect of privacy. We also expect you to ask for pronouns and to respect the gender identities of people. If you are not comfortable with this, we are not the place for you*** La Galère was a tv show in Québec from 2007 to 2013 about 4 mothers and their kids living together in a huge house. This is our vibe. We do have a small creek with very irregular water intake. If you are lucky you might be able to take a little swim.

Upon going up the road, the first parking on the right is for you. Please do not use the other spaces. We can only accommodate small rigs. Having a trailer will be difficult to maneuver, no way to turn to head back. While we do have a lot of parking spots, we ask that you use the first one on your right when you enter the property. If it is used, we suggest talking to our guests to clear the space and use it.
