Discovery Walking Tour (The most popular tour) We offer our Discovery Walking Tours every hour on the hour from 9am to 5pm. These tours last 1.5 hours and are mildly strenuous (1.5 miles long, 350 cut stone steps, steep inclines & declines over uneven surfaces). Gem Panning- Visit the gift shop and purchase some gem mining rough! With 5 different options to choose from you can pan for gemstones, fossils, arrowheads! Enjoy watching the goldfish pond as you pan and identify the mixed gemstones & fossils sourced from all over the world! Apple Brandy Hiking Trail- A 2.5 mile hiking trail on private property. The trail is accessible during business hours and the trail head is along the tree line near the parking lot. Information about this hiking trail can be found on AllTrails. Adventure Caving Tours: We offer FOUR different wild caving adventures at different skill levels. These involve wearing a helmet and headlamp and crawling, climbing and squeezing through tight underground passageways. You will get muddy and these are physically demanding tours. Adventure tours are available by reservation only. See our website for availability. Concerts: Cumberland Caverns Live is our concert series IN THE CAVE! Artists play their music 333' beneath the surface of Cardwell Mountain. Concerts are held in the Volcano Room of the cave. You can check out our concert lineup at www.cumberlandcavernslive.com. Please note that due to limited parking space Harvest Host guests are not able to stay at Cumberland Caverns on concert days. Overnight Caving Adventures: We have FOUR different overnight caving adventure packages. You are assigned a campsite, taken on a caving adventure, and it even includes breakfast in the morning. These are by advance reservation only and there must be a minimum of 10 to make an overnight reservation. (10 total, so you can join an existing reservation that has already met the minimum).
