We're in a country setting but do have neighbors on both sides. We like to be respectful of our neighbors by keeping tidy and generally quiet (but a good evening gathering or yard party are certainly a thing!). We've got a 10yo who LOVES making new friends. Our property is 2 wooded acres you're welcome to roam, and our neighborhood is host to many interesting livestock you'll see on a nice stroll or bike ride - donkeys, emus, horses, sheep, goats, cows, giant tortoises, zebras, ostriches, peacocks, and more. We also have exciting wildlife like deer, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, over 30 species of wild birds, and the rare mountain lion sighting (you're blessed if you ever get to see one!) Guests are welcome to use our grill and enjoy watching sunsets from our back porch. Suggested Local Attractions: We're within minutes of distilleries, wineries, breweries, and great BBQ. River activities in Austin, San Marcos, and New Braunfels are 25 - 45 minutes away. Area lakes are 45 minutes to an hour away in all directions. Artist and weaving attractions are 30 minutes away in Wimberley. There are beautiful Hill Country drives all around, and Central Texas music is strong. Also...tacos.
