About
Unfold your map and chart a course for an unforgettable RV camping adventure in the heart of East Texas, where the artistry of quilting meets serene landscapes and hometown flavors. With a backdrop of the blooming Dogwood Trails, your RV will find its resting place just 10 miles from the historic railroad town of Palestine, TX, offering an ideal blend of tranquility and local attractions. Set up camp on a smooth blacktop road away from the hustle of daily life. Here, the quiet is occasionally punctuated by the sounds of nature or the soft hum of a sewing machine as your host weaves creativity into every stitch. Although quilting is the soul of this host location, the possibility of discovering handcrafted quilts, table runners, and wall hangings adds a unique charm to your stayavailability may tickle your fancy or invite a chuckle, as the selection varies. A mere stone's throw away, the unincorporated hamlet of Montalba tantalizes with seasonal seafood delights and hearty hamburgers that promise to satiate any appetite. And when the blueberries ripen at the nearby Lake Creek Blueberry Farm, typically in mid-June, you can indulge in a day of sweet, sun-kissed berry picking. Expand your exploration to the Texas State Railroad, about 15 miles away, for a historical journey that harkens back to the golden era of steam engines and rail travel. Meanwhile, Palestine, a town steeped in history, awaits with its Dogwood Trails, vibrant Hot Pepper Festival, and an array of dining options including a farmer's market, inviting eateries, and convenient grocery stores like Super Walmart, Brookshire's, and Kroger.
