About
Embrace the pastoral symphony of sustainable craftsmanship and living history with an RV camping escape to a Texas treasure where artistry and heritage entwine. Here, the gentle hum of rural life meets the rhythmic crafting of fiber and wire, offering a unique backdrop for your on-the-road adventure. In the heart of this serene farmstead, wander amongst friendly alpaca, llamas, angora goats, and rabbits, whose precious fibers are transformed into stunning works of art. Observe a lifestyle where the welfare of each creature is cherished, and the collection of fiber is a testament to humane and loving care. Marvel at the art of shearing and brushing, a non-harmful dance between human and animal, yielding the raw materials for exquisite textile creations. Settle your RV amidst this creative sanctuary and partake in a historical journey as the host, with deep roots in reenactment, narrates the valorous tales of the Buffalo Soldiers. Stand in the presence of a man who has not only preserved history through storytelling but also has been immortalized in bronze as the face of the Buffalo Soldier Memorial Statue. Whether you seek a peaceful retreat in the embrace of artisanal flair, or wish to be regaled with stories of bravery and recognitionthe face of history itselfthis is an RV camping destination where every detail tells a story, every fiber and every twist is part of a larger narrative woven through time. Come and share in the legacy of fiber arts and living history, all harmoniously entwined in a one-of-a-kind RV camping experience that celebrates the beauty of rural Texas and the silent stories of its past. Welcome to the crossroads of creativity and historical homage, an RV getaway where every sunset is a stitch in the fabric of an enduring rural tapestry.
