About
My little mini farm is in the Green Mt national forest area on 26 acres right off of a quiet well maintained unpaved forest service road. There are roaming free range chickens and a tiny 3 &1/2 pound dog, so all dogs id approved must be quiet and friendly towards chickens and other small animals. Dog poop must be cleaned up. Occasionally I have fresh organic eggs as well as my organic produce and homemade healthy products for sale. I will even prepare box lunches if you want to hike in the area and do not want to go into town to buy extra food or do not have enough in your rig. This is a WIFI /chemical free zone sanctuary for people who can not tolerate the dangerous microwave emissions from phones, smart meters, and cell towers. You are welcomed to plug in your laptop to my wired modem! I will provide a long ethernet cord. There is limited cell service on my property depending on your carrier. If you desire electricity and water then I ask for a $10.00 donation as utilities in Vermont are some of the highest in the country. If just using a water fill up only, $5.00 per night is all I would ask. Suggested Local Attractions: Moosalamoo camp ground and national recreation area, Silver lake state forest park with hiking trails, swimming with sandy beach, picnic area and toilet facilities, Hog back mountain for beautiful views, micro breweries, The long trail and Catamount hiking and ski trails. Lake Dunmore boating and fishing with boat rentals, and more! Branbury state park on lake Dunmore also has a black water dumping area. Town of Middlebury and Middlebury college which offer many activities. Brandon(, 15 minutes away) is a charming New England Town with restaurants, shops and a French bakery/ wine shop. The Blueberry Hill Inn is right down the road if you want an elaborate gourmet meal or want to go cross county skiing or hiking on the trails. There is not always seating there for people not staying at the Inn. I am a trained chef and can also prepare simple to gourmet organic meals with advanced notice.
