A mere stone's throw from the convenience of I-64W, your stay at this homestead offers a serene respite whilst being a short 15-minute drive from the rich history and charm of Lexington, VA. RV adventurers seeking tranquility will find solace in the unadorned elegance of dry field camping spots, where the grass whispers under the vast expanse of the skyno hookups to tether you, no amenities to disrupt the natural order, just the earth beneath and the sky above. Parking your mobile haven on the soft, grassy bed that nature provides, you'll embrace the earnestness of the countryside. Furry companions are welcomed with open arms provided their curiosity is checked by a leash, maintaining the tranquil harmony of the farm. Revel in the pure air unsullied by smoke or the cacophony of loud musicthis sanctuary is a retreat for the senses. If you travel with quiet generators or a propane fire pit, rest assured they, too, have a place in this rustic idyll. Crafters and artisans will be drawn to the farm's prideluxurious yarn spun from the superior fleece of Romeldale sheep, a treat for those who marvel at the magic woven by one's own hands. While traditional business isn't the norm in this private enclave, travellers are welcomed to connect with the land and experience the beauty held within, even if the familys own RV adventures might occasionally limit hosting dates. Beyond the farm's borders lie a treasure trove of local attractions. Indulge in culture, nature, and the enduring spirit of the region. Goshen Pass will challenge hikers, while the Blue Ridge Parkway whispers the call of the unknown. History buffs can delve into the storied past at Virginia Military Institute and Washington & Lee University, or for the vinophiles, a tasting at Rockbridge Vineyard might beckon. Not forgetting those craving an African adventure, the Virginia Safari Park awaits to transport you to distant lands. Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: We live 5 minutes off I-64W, on a dirt/gravel road. We make it work with our 40-foot fifth wheel and F-450, but some folks might find our road a little daunting. It is narrow, there some pot holes... Not too bad with overhanging limbs, and plenty passable, just be aware. The spots are in a large field and access is pretty direct with plenty of room to turn around. No driveway/gravel once you get here. Not recommended for larger/heavier rigs or Class A motorhomes. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Field parking next to rig.
