About
Escape to a serene patch of nature where farm animals frolic amidst a mature grove of mixed hardwoods, just a stone's throw from America's revolutionary past. This unique RV camping retreat offers a bucolic setting where you are invited to unwind in the quiet company of free-range chickens, affection-seeking pigs, and vigilant guardian dogsall within a farm that prides itself on being non-certified organic and strictly soy-free. Positioned ideally, our farm is a mere ten minutes from the historic Patrick Henry's Red Hill Plantation and within forty-five minutes of seminal Revolutionary and Civil War landmarks. It's a place where history whispers through the trees, and tranquility is as abundant as the organic produce that grows within its soil. Your RV will rest under the tranquil shelter of mature trees, offering a shaded haven to retreat to after a day of exploration and animal encounters. Our pigs, known for their friendly demeanor, enjoy a good scratch behind the ears, and should you wish, you can hold one of our free-range chickens, or even cuddle with fluffy chicks when they're residing in the brooder. While our guardian dogs work tirelessly to watch over the farm (and enjoy a good pat for their troubles), we also proffer earplugs for just a quarter, ensuring your night is as peaceful as the setting sun. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty our farm has to offer, all while observing our simple rules designed to ensure the well-being of our animals, the health of our farm, and the comfort of all our guests. These include respecting quiet hours between 9 pm and 8 am, refraining from entering animal enclosures without a staff member, and adhering to our strict organic, soy-free diet for all farm animals. For the well-being of our community, we prohibit drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and vape use on the property, encouraging instead the consumption within the privacy of your RV. We believe in maintaining a respectful and family-friendly environment, so we also ask that guests mind their language and keep pets on a leash in designated areas. This farm is not just a place to stay; it offers an educational glimpse into sustainable farming practices, a connection with nature, and a peaceful retreat from the bustling world. It's an RV camping experience where the beauty of the past meets the simplicity of country livingperfect for those seeking a unique blend of history, nature, and farm life.
