About
Former horse farm, now we grow oxygen. We are a 10 minute drive from I-66. Our property is well off the main road, pretty secluded and very quiet. It is right next to a pond. The parking pad for RVs is blue stone dust, but has a very stable base under it, with a very slight slope. 20 Amp electrical and water is at the pad. The site has full sun before 4 pm, then shade. Picnic table and campfire ring is also at the site. Suggested Local Attractions:We are located about 40 minutes from Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, and 20 minutes to Sky Meadows State Park. Hiking galore! We are also about 55 miles due west of Washington, DC. Also, the area is home to many wineries, and Virginia horse country. Enjoy!!!

HOST
Friendly couple, off on the next adventure Details: We are a friendly laid back couple from the Northern VA area. She is a teacher, and he works for Uncle Sam. We love hiking, motorcycling, bicycling, and hosting family and friends at our small farm (formerly horses, now "oxygen") in Orlean, VA. Stories of other people's adventures are the fuel for our own. We are looking forward to both hosting and visiting other BW hosts. Home Town: We live near Orlean, VA Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere!!! Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all trades, master of none. Woodworking, toying on a motorcycle, working on the property, or making a house a home...

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: We live approximately 1/3 mile from the paved road. Our lane is gravel. There are a couple of turns on the access road, but you should be able to navigate that with a larger rig. The back in to the camping site is very easy. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Plenty of parking
