About
We are on Smith Mountain Lake just outside of Roanoke, Va. We are in a secluded area that is very quiet most of the time. There is lots to do at the lake such as mini golf, boating, fishing and site seeing. There are some great places to eat and drink. One of our favorites is the local tequila bar just over the bridge on the lake.
Pets are welcome but we ask that you keep them leashed and you must pickup after them.
Suggested Local Attractions:SML Damn, mini golf, boating, Virginia Dare Lake cruises.

We Love RVing and travel.
Details:
Married couple for 51 blissful years. Have been camping and RVing for over 3 years now. Sold our home in Georgia and bought our first motor home, a 2007 National Dolphin. The first year we put over 20k on our coach traveling all over the U.S. We had great times and saw wonderful sights. We sold our Dolphin last year and bought a couples trailer Coachmen Forester 22 foot.
Home Town:
I am originally from San Diego, California joined the Coast Guard traveled extensively until I met my beautiful bride. She is originally from Slovakia and we met in New York City been together ever since.
After our extensive traveling and family ups and downs we have decided to buy a piece of land at Smith Mountain Lake and just hang few months on and off.
Favorite Boondocking Locations:
We have only needed to spend a few days boondocking but our favorite spot so far was in Ohio.
Skills or Expertise to Share:
Jack of all trades. Good with my hands, computer skills, proficient at barbequing. My passions are bourbon, cigars, and my wife not exactly in that order.

House Rules
We only have a few simple requests. We ask that you keep the site clean as it will be when you arrive. We also request you to observe quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. We ask that you keep your pets leashed while on the property. We have a small but very friendly dog that we allow to roam free but he never goes too far from the house. He might come down to the site but we will try to make sure he does not. But hey, it's his yard.
We ask that you stay no longer than 3 nights unless you speak to us once you arrive. Smoking is fine with us but please take your butts with you. I will say something if you leave them behind.
Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions:
Road to us is a gravel one lane road with a few tight curves. Its a bit tricky with a trailer but doable. I do not recommend a motor home over 30'. You will have to drive all the way to the top of our driveway to turn around and go back down to the site. The site is narrow but you will have room to enjoy yourself. When coming in we need you to let us know so I can assist you if needed.
Tow Vehicle Parking Details:
If you're pulling a trailer maximum trailer length is 25feet plus tow vehicle. You will not be able to turn around if it's more then that.
