We are a retired couple.
Details:
We like to hike and kayak. We are learning to play the recorder together. Rich plays Jazz Piano.
Home Town:
We live in a rural area about 12 miles from Olympia, WA. Although it is the capital of our state, Olympia feels like a small town. There are several parks with access to salt water (the Puget Sound) in the area. Mount Rainier, Mount Saint Helens and the Olympic Mountains are each within a 2 hour drive.
Favorite Boondocking Locations:
Painted canyon near Palm Springs, CA; Jumbo Rocks campground in Joshua Tree National Park, CA

Access Road Conditions:
Driveway access is not suitable for large rigs. There are many overhanging trees. I only keep it cleared for our 9-foot tall rig. The driveway is a narrow, tree-lined, unpaved, gravel driveway which is twisty and bumpy for a quarter mile. It has a steep up-hill on the way out.. There is also a small bridge over a stream.
