We currently only offer Guided Trail Rides as a service for Harvest Hosts to purchase / participate to uphold the Harvest Host code of ethics (supporting the farm). HOWEVER, we have had a lot of requests from Harvest Hosters who would like the experience the farm WITHOUT having to horseback ride. We have found that a recommended minimum $20 donation has been a good compromise for members in lieu of the trail ride activities. Petting zoo includes rabbits, pigs, goats, turkeys, chickens, and horses. We occasionally have baby animals as well (seasonal). August thru September is wild blackberry season, and the campground is surrounded by them. Feel free to pick them! We do not currently have merchandise to purchase at this time. Coming soon 2024. We do allow dogs, although we feel it is important for members to be aware that many of our small creatures are free range (rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks, barn cats), so please, no chasing. We also have a couple farm dogs of our own that are not confined. The spotted one is Lucas. He is very friendly and plays well with others. HE IS NOT FIXED. Black and tan is Nisha, and the old Lab is Axle. They all bark and newcomers, they even bark at me when I come home, they are just out doing dog things. We are expecting Catahoula puppies end of August 2023 from Nisha and Lucas! ^_^ As far as Trail Riding goes, we offer 10% off discounted rate for Harvest Host guests from our regular rates. Our regular rates are as follows: 1 hour : $85 per person ​ 1 hour and 30 minutes : $115 per person ​ 2 hours: $140 per person ​ 2 hours and 30 minutes: $160 per person ​ 3 hours: $175 per person Minimim age requirement is 12 years old. We have pony rides available for young children starting at $5 ea. 5 minutes lead around the 5 acres.
