The "End of County Road 500 Feet" sign means you've arrived! Breathtaking B-I-G skies and spectacular sunsets (and sunrises) await you. A fantastic place to simply stop, refresh, and recharge! You may spot a Northern Harrier in pursuit of it's prey in one of our tree stands, Bald Eagles soaring overhead, or a playful bonded pair of Ravens gliding the thermals. Lots of little birds, too! Watch for the appearance of deer at dusk. Marvel at the night sky bursting with millions of stars with the Milky Way front and center! A leisurely hike down to the creek reveals a hidden gem of a temperate rain forest featuring amazing old growth cedar trees. You might discover fossils or possibly wolf tracks in the stream bed!
