About
Embark on a journey to the heart of New River Gorge, where the spirit of Appalachia is alive and brewing. This unique RV camping destination marries the tranquility of nature with the rich tapestry of local culture, offering travelers an unforgettable experience. Jeff and Sarah Edwards, a dynamic husband-and-wife duo, invite you to immerse yourself in the world of craft beer at their brainchild, a testament to passion, creativity, and community. It all started with a simple fermentation experiment in a Morgantown backyard in 2014, using a makeshift brewing system. This hobby quickly blossomed into a full-blown love affair with the art of beer crafting. After years of honing their skills and raising their son in Morgantown, the desire for a change led the family to the vibrant town of Fayetteville, where they established their brewery amidst the stunning backdrop of downtown Fayetteville. Here, alongside co-founder and WV artist Jamie Lester, they've created an inviting space that showcases handcrafted steel, wood, concrete, and murals that paint a vivid picture of the local heritage. From the original 3.5-barrel brewhouse, producing favorites like Moondogs Blonde Ale, Trucker Speed IPA, and Orange Oswald SMaSH IPA, the brewery has blossomed, upgrading to a 20-barrel system to meet the growing thirst of its patrons. The expansion to Hico, WV, just 9 miles north, underscores a dedication not only to crafting exceptional beer but also to fostering a sense of community and belonging among visitors from near and far. RV campers will find more than just a place to park; they'll discover a haven where the essence of Appalachia is infused in every pint, and every encounter. Whether you're drawn by the allure of expertly crafted beers, the rich cultural tapestry, or the stunning natural surroundings, this destination offers a blend of experiences that cater to lovers of the outdoors and aficionados of fine brews alike. Ideal for those who appreciate the slower pace of RV camping but crave a sprinkle of adventure and culture, this brewery set in the enchanting New River Gorge region promises a stay filled with warmth, discovery, and the timeless charm of Appalachian hospitality. Come for the beer, stay for the stories, and leave with memories of a place where the legacy of the land is lovingly brewed into every experience.
