We are located 2 miles from I-57 exit 312 and provide a very quiet setting under shade trees for your enjoyment and relaxation from travel. We encourage walking around the grounds. Outdoor grille cooking and generator operation is permitted. You are welcome to use our fire pit; wood available—lots or room for pets. There is a unique theme among the buildings; reported to have been designed by the University of IL Architectural Dept. The land was Homesteaded in the early 1800’s. A Victorian style house, barns and carriage house were erected in 1900. It is reported to be the first electrified farm in Kankakee County. The barn store has decorator designed displays of antiques, collectibles and seasonal crafts—A must visit—please commit to the min purchase per Host membership guidelines.
