About
Immerse yourself in the authentic charm of an Iowa homestead, where the serenade of farm animals and the rustic beauty of the countryside beckon you to a unique RV camping experience. Picture yourself unwinding amidst chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, guineas, peacocks, goats, and sheep, while your RV nestles into a spot powered by sustainable solar energy. This hobby farm offers not just a connection to the gentle farm life, but also caters to your RV camping needs with various electric hook-up options including one 50 amp, two 30 amp, and multiple 20 amp hook-ups. The hosts kindly request a donation for the use of their facilities, suggesting $30 for a standard stay or $25-$50 for those requiring additional services like electricity or fresh waterservices that not only enhance your stay but also fuel the family's own passion for travel through their photovoltaic panel field. Dog lovers will find kindred spirits here, with two friendly Great Pyrenees patrolling the property, ensuring well-behaved canine companions are more than welcome to join the adventure. As you settle in, the absence of commercial transactions emphasizes the pure, inclusive spirit of the hosts, inviting you to partake in the simple joy of a night around the fire pit under the vast, starlit Iowa sky, surrounded by the tranquil sights and sounds of farm life. Whether you're seeking solace, a connection to nature, or a friendly atmosphere for your RV camping journey, this hobby farm enriches your experience with its tranquil surroundings, sustainable practices, and a heartwarming invitation to be part of their travel-loving community, even if just for a night.

Parking & Arrival
Grass parking in the pasture or gravel parking by the big red barn. Electricity and water available at the barn for an additional donation. Please map your route to arrive from the EAST - it might be a bit longer but the roads are good. Despite what Google tells you, the last 1/2 mile when coming from the west is unimproved dirt/mud. Most days it’s passable but we only have a little tractor to pull you out if you misjudge. Go around...you’ll be glad you did. Check out the map in the photo gallery for directions from I80. Our location IS NOT pull-through. We have plenty of room to turn around but backing still be required, to include unhooking tow vehicles, if needed. But don’t worry, our neighbors are a long ways away and won’t judge as you work your back-up magic!
