About
As the sun dips below the horizon and paints the sky with strokes of pink and orange, your RV settles into the embrace of a lush, idyllic retreat. Here, RV camping doesn't just mean a place to park; it means an immersive experience in the heart of Chesapeake City, Maryland, where history and viticulture intertwine. This family-owned, women-operated vineyard and winery stretches across 440 bountiful acres along the banks of the Bohemia River and the picturesque Scenic Byway 213. Imagine waking up to the soft hues of dawn, casting a gentle light over the rolling hills that once belonged to Augustine Herrman, founder of Bohemia Manor and the first Lord of the Manor. Your senses awaken to the subtle rustlings of nature's symphony, inviting you to explore the grounds that have been delicately crafting high-quality wines with passion and precision. The tasteful RV camping experience on offer extends to the palate as well. At the intimate and inviting tasting room, indulge in carefully curated wines that exemplify the vineyard's commitment to excellence. As Brenda Dedrick, the esteemed proprietor, eloquently puts it, "There is absolutely no substitute for the best." With each sip of their exquisite wines, it's clear that this philosophy permeates every dropfrom grape to glass. Whether you're an oenophile keen on expanding your wine repertoire or an RV camper looking for a serene and flavorful stopover, the experience here transcends the ordinary. Enjoy a scenic glass, partake in the rich history, and savor the true spirit of Maryland's renowned viticultureall while the comforts of your RV await, just steps away from the elegant simplicity of vintner life. Here, RV Camping isnt just an activity, its an art forma chance to bask in the legacy of a land where the best grapes flourish and nothing goes to waste. Come for the culture, stay for the craftsmanship, and leave with memories bottled up to savor for years to come.
