Located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula, one hour past the Mackinac Bridge, we are conveniently on US Highway 2 in between Manistique and Newberry. (Please plug “Pell’s Pie Patch & Family Farm” into Google Maps, we cannot guarantee that HH or any other GPS will be accurate). We are behind the trees, so you can pull off and relax away from your hurried travels. A small and quaint farm, we live simple lives and are not lavish. Our grounds are grassy and green with flowerbeds brimming with English tea roses and cottage flowers. Large Brown Swiss cows, wooly horned Icelandic sheep, and forest pigs (and chickens!) meander around the pastures. Take a walk around the property with us to see the animals, or take a peek in the shop! IF YOU DO NOT EAT MEAT, OR ARE GLUTEN-FREE, PLEASE TAKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION (We currently do not offer an gluten-free products) ***WE ARE NOT A FULLY-STOCKED BAKERY, IF YOU WOULD LIKE PIES, BREADS, OR BAGELS, THEY NEED TO BE ORDERED IN ADVANCE.*** The farm shop is brimming with high-end meats, perfect for your next great meal: Pastured chicken, forested pork, and grass fed/grass finished lamb and beef in a variety of cuts. Need real bacon? We've got it. Chops and steaks? We've got those too! Our buttery gourmet pies and sourdough bread are the finishing touch to your special dinner, and our fresh sourdough bagels ready for your grab 'n go breakfast sandwiches. We accept cash and credit/debit for payment. If you are looking for a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere (just simple, UP living!), consider us. We'd love to host you and give you a break from your fast-paced ordinary. ***We ask that all pets remain on a leash while here (the livestock appreciate it!) Check in Time: 6 p.m. and after (please no earlier, we are still quite busy) Check out Time: 10:00 a.m. Please excuse our neighbor: “Honest Injun’s Tourist Trap” is an old, rather unsightly antique/odds & ends shop, that locals have just become accustomed to. The building is in disrepair and the contents have migrated onto the lawn. We are NOT associated with that business, we just happen to have a driveway next to his! Once you pull down our drive, you cannot see any of it and forget that it is there (until you pull back through the trees to leave!) ***
