About
Unfurl the map of time and traverse the rich agricultural tapestry that shapes the heartland as you indulge in an RV camping experience like no other. Journey along a one-mile Time Lane Loop, where history unfurls its chapters amidst rustic historic buildings and whispers tales of an era bygone. Your senses will come to life as you meander past an 1850s homestead, complete with a log cabin that harkens back to the simplicity of frontier life, and a quintessential one-room schoolhouse, where the echoes of learning still linger. Lift your spirits in a county church that stands as a testament to communal faith, and immerse yourself in the bygone era of the 1930s at a working dairy farm, where the churning of butter and the clinking of milk bottles provide a melodic backdrop to your adventure. Discover the ingenuity of past trades at the bustling feed mill and the rhythmic hammering at the blacksmith shop. But the journey through the past is just a prelude to understanding the present at the Ag Around You Discovery Center. Here, explore the unexpected ways agriculture enriches your daily life, even in the comfort of your RV. Delight in the intertwining of farm living with modern comforts, and see first-hand how agriculture influences your surroundings in the most unsuspecting ways. As summer wanes and autumn's breath colors the landscape, challenge yourself in a sprawling corn maze, where stalks tower and paths invite the whispers of excitement. Seasonally, the farm pulses with life as cows low, chickens peck, and pigs root at the 1930s site, providing a living exhibit and an interactive escapade for visitors from June to September. Tailor your RV camping escapade not just as a retreat but as a journey through the annals of Minnesota agriculture, where each step is a story and every sight is a memory in the making. This unique destination is more than just an RV stopit's a celebration of agrarian history, a living museum, and a vibrant learning experience wrapped into one.
